About Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata (CCU)

The airport has two terminals and two parallel runways. Terminal 2 (T2) features 128 check-in counters, 78 immigration counters, 12 customs desks, 18 aerobridges, and 57 remote parking stands. Terminal (T1) is replaced by a new terminal connected to Terminal 2. Over 55-60 domestic routes and 20-25 international destinations.

Domestic Routes: Mainly cover cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Goa, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Patna, Chennai, and regional centres like Varanasi, Guwahati, Agartala, Port Blair, Bagdogra.

International Destinations: Including Dhaka, Dubai, Bangkok, Doha, Singapore, Phuket, Kathmandu, and Hanoi. 

Domestic Airlines: IndiGo, Air India, Air India Express, Akasa Air, SpiceJet and Alliance Air.

International Airlines: Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, and US-Bangla.

Cargo Airline: Atlas Air, Blue Dart Aviation, IndiGo Cargo, My Indo Airlines, Spice Xpress, World Cargo Airlines.

Free High-Speed Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminals, allowing passengers to stay connected.

Duty-Free Shopping: Available at departure and arrival areas, featuring electronics, liquor, global brands, perfumes and confectionery.

• The upcoming orange line will be directly linked to the airport. 

Arrive early: To avoid the stress of getting late for international flights, arrive at least 2.5-3 hours before the departure and 1.5-2 hours before for domestic flights.

Check metro update: Check the status of the metro, which connects directly to the airport. (The upcoming orange line will go straight to the airport.) 

Use a prepaid taxi: Use a prepaid taxi to avoid last-minute cancellation issues with taxi drivers.

Download boarding pass in advance: To avoid the long check-in process line, the best suggestion is to pre-download the boarding pass, especially if you are travelling for the first time.
