Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) is the largest Airport in India, assembled on 23 March 2008 over 5,500 acres of land in Hyderabad, Telangana. It was named after a former prime minister, Rajiv Gandhi. It was the first Airport to launch e-boarding in 2015 and later have international e-boarding in 2020. It has two runways and one main terminal, which handles both domestic and international flights. It also serves 80 airlines, including both domestic and International Flights.

Delhi, The capital of India, has the busiest Airport. Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) was opened on 2 May 1986, named after former prime minister Indira Gandhi. This Airport handled 7.92 million passengers in 2024-2025. Indira Gandhi Airport is extended over an area of 5,106 acres in Palam. IGIA has three terminals T1,T2 and T3. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 operate domestic flights, whereas Terminal 3 is occupied for international flights. IGIA is the first Airport to have four runways. Approximately 80 flights fly from IGIA.

Bangalore, the city of technology, has the 3rd largest and busiest Airport. Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) opened in May 2008 and covers over 40 km of the centre of the city. It is owned by a public-private partnership and handles both domestic and international flights. It has two terminals, both terminals are located on one ground and also has cargo facilities It manages 750 flights and also covers 25 countries.

This Airport was opened on 11 December 2022 and operated on 5 January 2023. It is named after CM Manohar Parrikar. Manohar International Airport is the 16th busiest Airport in India. There are two terminals which handle 1000 inbound and outbound travellers during rush hour.

Dabolim International Airport (GOI). It is saturated in Panji. This Airport was opened by the Airport Authority of India in 1955 and spread over 1,700 acres. This Airport manages 7.2 million travellers and cargo traffic. 21 Domestic and 23 International flights fly from Dabolim airport over two countries. There are two terminals: one for domestic flights and another one for international flights.

Cochin International Airport (COK). It is also known as Kochi International Airport, located in the city of Kochi, Kerala. This Airport is grounded in 1300 acres. This Airport was established on 20 May 1999 and operated by Cochin International Airport Limited. The Airport has one runway with a length of 3,445 meters and three terminals. Terminal 1 is handling domestic flights, and Terminal 2 is occupied for Business and Exclusive jets. And Terminal 3 is reserved for international flights. The Airport has one cargo terminal which handles both domestic and international cargo.

The airport is located in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. This airport was opened on 21st Dec 1924. It has two parallel runways one the larger one is primarily used for take-off and landing and the second one is for taxiway. This airport contains two terminals, Terminal one operates domestic flights where Terminal two is occupied for domestic and international flights both. Also operates 300-400 flights daily.

Chennai International Airport (MAA) is located in chennai tamil nadu and was established in 1930 by the ministry of civil aviation. The airport has two runways which handle 980 flights per day.
