Thai Airways Popular Flight Routes: Where Passengers Love to Fly Most

Thai Airways resumed flights to nine main domestic destinations for the incredible season, previously operated by its subsidiary Thai Smile. 

Per week, 56 flights fly from Bangkok to Phuket, similarly 35 flights to Chiang Mai, 28 flights to Khon Kaen, 21 flights to Udon Thani and destinations like Hat Yai, Krabi, Chiang Rai, Narathiwat and Ubon Ratchathani are the most popular routes from Bangkok. 

Tourism Hotspots: Phuket, Chiang Mai, Krabi, and Hat Yai are consistent crowd-pleasers for both domestic and international travellers, rising during peak seasons like December-March and Songkran.

Regional and Strategic Connectivity: Khon Kaen and Udon Thani deliver as financial powerhouses in Northeast Thailand, boosting regional business and travel flows. Chiang Rai and Ubon Ratchathani are important northern and eastern regional gateways.

Operational Flexibility: Thai Airways utilises former Thai Smile Airbus A320S and crew to maintain high-frequency routes efficiently during peak demand.
